The following is from Kim:
Well every year for our Christmas tree Tony and I survey the yard to see what trees need to be thinned to allow other young trees to grow more healthy. This year we ALMOST bit off more than we could chew, or at least a bit more than we could stand up! The tree is 22 ft tall, and while we have managed taller trees, there have been none that have been as full as this tree. Once we pushed and pulled at it, we finally got it inside. But when we went to pull it to stand up, it was just too heavy. So we had to thin some branches until we could heave ho from the loft to get it standing. We were too exhausted to decorate immediately, but it's good to go now! And we have some nice fresh snow to boot! Hope you all get out soon and get that tree up and enjoy the season!
